Anneka N. says: My daughter and five of her friends (plus three adults) had a fabulous time having Lisa apply her gorgeous designs (none the same and none copied from an existing pattern) for my daughter's 10th birthday party. Lisa shared a bit of background about henna and her own history of learning the art which was a really nice way for the girls to start the evening. We were all really excited to see the designs come to life over the course of the evening and the next morning. This is a wonderful way for birthday parties to have an at-home event where the fun will continue for a week or two as people discuss the designs adorning your foot, ankle, hand or wrist!

Full disclosure: people at my mehndhi party were asking, "Really? That white girl is doing your bridal mehndhi?" But as soon as Lisa whipped out her mehndhi tubes and started her amazingly intricate designs, the room was wowed. She managed to intertwine such delicate details within the crevices of my fingers. Lisa was so professional and delightful and so incredibly talented. I'd definitely recommend her to any bride for her personal mehndhi, as well as anyone who wants to have her mehndhi done even for fun!

I hired Lisa for 3 hours for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah. It was one of the highlights of the party. All of the kids loved it but the adults loved it even more! It was so much more fun than the typical party photo booth or tattoos. I highly recommend her for your next event.

For the Eid Holiday I was looking for a henna artist and I found Kenzi. There was others but Lisa's prices was reasonable compared to others. I scheduled my appointment during the week for the following weekend. Lisa applied the henna with such skill that I was truly amazed. The design is beautiful. I love it. Can't wait for the next appt. I had my stomach henned in Moroccan designs with lots of Anti evil eye symbols, and charts to confuse bad devils, and for healthy delivery. It turned out amazing!!!! i love the designs. Kenzi is also henning people at my baby shower this weekend. I cant wait!! It will "make " the party. !!

On a whim, I had Lisa henna my hands this past weekend, and I absolutely love it. New Yorkers are famous for not paying attention to their surroundings, but I get so many compliments from random people on the subway, the street, etc. Given that this was my first time getting henna done, I was a little nervous, and Lisa was great about explaining the process and the history to me. All around, it was (and is!) a great experience, and I'll definitely be back for more.

Kenzi is wonderful! She is down to earth and loves to get to know people. But most of all her henna work is great pieces of art. She did henna on my hands and feet for my wedding as well as for my bridesmaids. We all loved her work. She took our ideas and created art. The work was just as good as the henna work I received in India for my engagement ceremony. She uses her own henna and it smells great. Her prices are reasonable for the area and I did the leg work to find out :). I loved working with her. She was reliable and helpful and answered questions promptly. I have already recommended her to friends. And I'm sure I will use her again in the future.

We hired Kenzi for my son's Bar Mitzvah. We had it at an Indian/Latin restaurant and had a Bollywood theme. Amongst the ladies and girls, Kenzi was the hit of the party. Kenzi did the henna on my hands and feet for my wedding. She did a really a good job and the ink turned out really well. Everyone even strangers were raving about how nice it looked that I should get it permanently! It lasted for a couple weeks, slightly less for my feet, but that's because I went to the beach after the wedding and the salt water washed it off after 3 days. Kenzi made the experience very relaxed and her designs are a real work of art. The whole experience actually de-stressed my bridesmaids and I and it became a bonding experience.

I had my henna done by Kenzi for my wedding. She also did the henna all of my friends / bridal party a few days before my wedding at a mehndi party. It was great! My friends loved having their henna done, and my own henna looked amazing!! I've had it done many times before but this was definitely the best - I followed her instructions concerning how to make the color of the henna last and keep it looking beautiful - it did not fade completely until the last day of my honeymoon - almost 3 weeks after the wedding!

When Kenzi was visiting California, I had the rare opportunity to be henna'd by her. As a fellow henna artist, I assure you there are not a lot of people I will let henna me. I proudly sported the most amazing Moroccan style design for 2 weeks. Not a lot of artists can do Moroccan, but Kenzi is the head-mistress of Moroccan.
